I saw a Sox game at Fenway in '99, and I felt like I was back at Grand and Dodier in St. Louis. The ugly underpinnings, the foul rest rooms, the "band-box" feel, that pervasive aroma that contains hints of buttered popcorn and vomit simultaneously...does it get any better than that? I miss Sportsman's Park...and I'll bet Wrigley has the same sort of feel to it...just like Fenway.

They are arch-rivals of the Redbirds, but it's been a civil (and fun) rivalry for as long as I can remember. I'm sort of pleased to see them in the race this year...and if the Cards weren't in the running, I'd be rooting for 'em.

I'd love to see a game at Wrigley someday...
